Most hair oils list twenty ingredients and lead with silicone. This is the whole label, in the proportions it is bottled.

What is not in it.

Silicone gives instant shine and builds up until hair looks dull under it. Fragrance is the most common reason for an itchy scalp. Water means preservatives. We left all three out and accepted that the bottle looks plain.

How to use

Ninety seconds, three steps.

Towel-dry
Damp, not wet. Oil on soaking hair slides off with the water.

Warm the drops
Count them into one palm, rub your hands together until they are barely shiny.

Mid-lengths to ends
Rake through from the ears down. Nothing on the roots. Style as usual, or leave it.
